Tolani Maritime Institute (TMI), established in 1998 in Pune, Maharashtra.It is a private institution approved by the Directorate General of Shipping (DGS), Maritime Port Authority, and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport, and Tourism (MLIT). Affiliated with IMU and promoted by the Tolani Education Foundation, TMI offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and certificate courses in Marine Engineering, Technical Ship Management, and Nautical Science.The institute's degree programs have received Grade A1 (Outstanding) certification from DNV-GL under the DG Shipping Comprehensive Inspection Programme and are ISO-certified. As a member of the Global Maritime Education and Training Association, TMI conducts Shipboard Structured Training and distance-learning programs approved by DG Shipping.With experienced faculty and strong placement support. Additionally, TMI has introduced a Hazard Simulation and Safety Awareness Training course. The institute’s flagship programs include BTech and BSc.
