Application Fees

For Indian Candidates:

• General/OBC/EWS (Male): ₹1,000 (Single Paper), ₹2,000 (Both Papers)
• General/OBC/EWS (Female): ₹800 (Single Paper), ₹1,600 (Both Papers)
• SC/ST/PwD/Transgender: ₹500 (Single Paper), ₹1,000 (Both Papers)

For Foreign Candidates:

• Male: ₹5,000 (Single Paper), ₹10,000 (Both Papers)
• Female: ₹4,000 (Single Paper), ₹8,000 (Both Papers)

• Credit Card/Debit Card (Visa/MasterCard/RuPay)
• Net Banking (All major banks)

Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination or equivalent in 2023 or 2024, or be appearing in 2025, with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subjects.
• Age Limit: No age limit; however, candidates must meet the age criteria of the institutes to which they seek admission.

Mode of Exam

Computer-Based Test (CBT) for all papers except the Drawing Test in Paper 2A, which is Pen and Paper-based.

Medium of Exam

Available in 13 languages (English, Hindi, regional languages)

Duration of Exam

3 hours for each paper

Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and Numerical Value Questions.

Papers

• Paper 1: B.E./B.Tech
• Paper 2A: B.Arch
• Paper 2B: B.Planning

Exam Pattern

Paper 1: B.E./B.Tech (Engineering Courses)

• Mode: Computer-Based Test (CBT)
• Duration: 3 hours
• Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics
• Total Questions: 90 (Only 75 need to be answered)
• Total Marks: 300

Question Distribution:

• Mathematics: 20 MCQs + 10 Numerical (Answer any 5) = 25 questions (100 marks)
• Physics: 20 MCQs + 10 Numerical (Answer any 5) = 25 questions (100 marks)
• Chemistry: 20 MCQs + 10 Numerical (Answer any 5) = 25 questions (100 marks)

Marking Scheme:

• (+4) marks for correct answers
• (-1) mark for incorrect MCQs
• No negative marking for numerical questions

Paper 2A: B.Arch (Architecture Courses)

• Mode: Partially CBT (Drawing section is Pen-and-Paper)
• Duration: 3 hours
• Subjects: Mathematics, Aptitude, Drawing
• Total Questions: 82
• Total Marks: 400

Question Distribution:

• Mathematics: 20 MCQs + 10 Numerical (Answer any 5) = 25 questions (100 marks)
• Aptitude: 50 MCQs (200 marks)
• Drawing: 2 Questions (100 marks)

Marking Scheme:

• (+4) marks for correct answers
• (-1) mark for incorrect MCQs
• No negative marking for numerical & drawing questions

Paper 2B: B.Planning (Planning Courses)

• Mode: Computer-Based Test (CBT)
• Duration: 3 hours
• Subjects: Mathematics, Aptitude, Planning-Based Questions
• Total Questions: 105
• Total Marks: 400

Question Distribution:

• Mathematics: 20 MCQs + 10 Numerical (Answer any 5) = 25 questions (100 marks)
• Aptitude: 50 MCQs (200 marks)
• Planning: 25 MCQs (100 marks)

Marking Scheme:

• (+4) marks for correct answers
• ( -1) mark for incorrect MCQs
• No negative marking for numerical questions

The syllabus covers topics from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics based on the NCERT curriculum of classes 11 and 12.
