Steps of Application

  1. Register Online – Visit admissions.tiss.edu and create an account.
  2. Fill Application Form – Enter personal, academic details and select up to 3 programs.
  3. Upload Documents – Photo, signature, category/income certificates (if applicable).
  4. Pay Application Fee – Online (Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking) or Offline (SBI Challan).
  5. Download Admit Card – Available before the exam on the official website.
  6. Appear for TISSNET – Take the computer-based test (CBT).
  7. Selection Process – Shortlisted candidates attend TISSMAT/TISSPAT (for some courses) and PI.
  8. Final Admission – Merit list based on scores; selected candidates complete verification & fee payment.

 

 

Application Fees

  • General/OBC/EWS: ₹1,030 (1 program), ₹2,060 (2 programs), ₹3,090 (3 programs).
  • SC/ST/PwD (With Income Certificate): ₹260 (1 program), ₹520 (2 programs), ₹780 (3 programs).
  • SC/ST/PwD (Without Income Certificate): ₹510 (1 program), ₹1,020 (2 programs), ₹1,530 (3 programs).

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree (minimum 3 years) from a recognized university.
  • Final-year students can apply, but they must complete their degree by June 2025.

Age Limit

  • No age limit for TISSNET.

Work Experience (If Required)

  • Some programs (like Executive Courses) require 2+ years of work experience.

Counselling and Admission

TISS admissions are now based on CUET-PG 2025 and CAT 2024 scores, depending on the program.

The step-by-step process is listed below:

Step 1: Appear for the Exam

  • Candidates must take CUET-PG 2025 (for most PG programs) or CAT 2024 (for HRM & LR and ODCL programs).

 

Step 2: Declaration of Results

  • CUET-PG and CAT results will be released as per their respective schedules.
  • TISS will shortlist candidates based on the exam scores.

 

Step 3: Online Detailed Application Form (DAF) Submission

  • Shortlisted candidates must fill out the DAF through the TISS admissions portal within the given timeframe.

 

Step 4: Personal Interview (PI) & Group Discussion (GD) / Extempore

  • Shortlisted candidates will be called for PI & GD/Extempore depending on the course.
  • The interview will assess analytical ability, communication skills, and subject knowledge.

 

Step 5: Merit List & Selection

  • TISS will prepare a final merit list based on:
    • CUET-PG or CAT Score
    • Personal Interview & GD/Extempore Performance
    • Academic Background (if applicable)
  • Selected candidates will receive an admission offer via email.

 

Step 6: Document Verification & Fee Payment

  • Candidates must submit required documents for verification.
  • Admission is confirmed after the payment of fees.

 

Step 7: Final Admission & Course Commencement

  • After completing all formalities, students will receive final admission confirmation.
  • Classes will begin as per the academic schedule.
