Counselling and Admission

Application Process:

Registration:

  • Visit the official NBE website and create an account by providing basic details such as name, date of birth, email ID, and mobile number to generate login credentials.

 

Application Form:

  • Log in using the credentials and fill out the application form with personal, educational, and internship details.

 

Document Upload:

  • Upload scanned copies of the required documents, including a recent photograph, signature, and thumb impression.

 

Fee Payment:

  • Pay the application fee online through the available payment gateways.

 

Confirmation:

  • Review all entered information, submit the application, and print the confirmation page for future reference.

 

 

Counselling Process:

While The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will conduct the NEET PG 2025 counselling for 50% All India Quota seats, the remaining seats will be filled through respective state authorities. The counselling process entails registration, choice filling, merit list publication, and seat allotment. Specific (particular) dates and detailed procedures will be announced on the official MCC website at mcc.nic.in. ( mcc.nic.in )

The West Bengal Medical Counselling Committee (WBMCC) will oversee the state-specific counselling process for candidates in West Bengal. The WBMCC official website should be checked for updates on registration dates, procedures, and other relevant information.

Step-by-Step Counselling Process:

1. Registration

  • Visit MCC website.
  • Click on "New Registration" and enter your NEET PG roll number, application number, and personal details.
  • Generate login credentials and complete registration.
  • Pay the registration fee (varies by category and institution type).

 

2. Choice Filling & Locking

  • Log in and select your preferred colleges and courses.
  • Arrange the choices in order of preference.
  • Once finalized, lock your choices before the deadline. (If not locked, the last saved choices will be considered automatically.)

 

3. Seat Allotment Result

  • MCC releases round-wise seat allotment results based on merit and preference.
  • If allotted a seat, you have the following options:
    • Accept the seat and report to the allotted college.
    • Opt for an upgrade in the next round.
    • Exit the counselling process.

 

4. Reporting to the Allotted Institute

  • Candidates who accept a seat must report physically to the allotted college with the required documents within the given timeframe.
  • Submit fees and complete admission formalities.

 

 

Rounds of Counselling:

Round 1

  • Choice filling and seat allotment for all registered candidates.
  • If satisfied, report to the allotted college; otherwise, apply for Round 2.

 

Round 2

  • Fresh registrations are allowed.
  • Candidates who did not get a seat in Round 1 or wish to upgrade can participate.
  • If a seat is allotted, the previous seat gets automatically forfeited.

 

Mop-Up Round

  • Conducted if seats remain vacant after Round 2.
  • Open for new registrations and those who didn’t get a seat in previous rounds.
  • Candidates who joined a seat in Round 1 or 2 cannot participate.

 

Stray Vacancy Round

  • Final round for any leftover seats.
  • Conducted by colleges directly for the remaining vacant seats.
