OVERVIEW
B.Tech Lateral Entry is a 3-year undergraduate engineering program. The candidates who want to pursue Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree after completion of Polytechnic or B.Sc. graduation course, B.Tech Lateral Entry program is designed for them.
For B-Tech Lateral entry, students can join directly to the 2nd year (3rd semester) of the program. So that, the course duration is 3 years. Admission is based on state/national-level entrance exams like LEET, JELET, AP ECET, TS ECET, and others, depending on the state and university.
The B.Tech Lateral Entry program is actually equivalent to B-Tech undergraduate course. This course is designed for fast-track technical education.
