SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (SRMJEEE) is a national-level entrance exam which is conducted by SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST). Students who wish to pursue various undergraduate engineering (B.Tech) programs should qualify this entrance exam. The exam is held annually in multiple phases, providing candidates multiple opportunities to secure admission.
SRMJEEE is a computer-based test (CBT) exam. It covers subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology, English, and Aptitude. The question paper consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs), and there is no negative marking.
SRMJEEE is widely recognized across all SRM campuses, including SRMIST Chennai (Kattankulathur), SRM University – AP, and SRM University – Haryana. Candidates who qualify for the exam are eligible for counselling and seat allocation based on their ranks.
The exam follows a simple application process, conducted online, and offers scholarships to meritorious students.

Eligibility Criteria
|
Candidates must meet the following criteria to apply for SRMJEEE:
1️. Nationality
- Indian citizens, NRIs, and PIO/OCI cardholders are eligible.
2️. Educational Qualification
- For all B.Tech programs:
- Candidates must have passed Class 12 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology as main subjects.
- A minimum of 50% aggregate marks in PCM/PCB is required.
3️. Age Limit
- Candidates must be at least 16 years old as of July 31 of the admission year.
4️. Board Requirements
- Candidates from CBSE, ICSE, State Boards, IB, or other recognized boards can apply.
5️. Direct Admission
- SRM offers direct admission & scholarships to top rankers in board exams, JEE Main, and other national-level competitions.

- Eligible candidates must register for counselling through the SRMIST official website.
