Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for IEMJEE vary based on the course:

For B.Tech

  • Must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
  • Minimum 50% aggregate marks (relaxation for reserved categories as per norms).

For BBA/BCA

  • Must have passed 10+2 in any stream from a recognized board.
  • Minimum 50% aggregate marks required.

For M.Tech

  • Must have a B.Tech/BE degree in a relevant field.
  • Valid GATE/IEMJEE score preferred.

For MBA

  • Must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks.
  • Valid CAT/MAT/IEMJEE score required.

Counselling and Admission

GATE does not conduct a centralized counselling process like other entrance exams. Instead, admissions to M.Tech, PhD, and PSU recruitment are managed separately through different channels.

1. Counselling Registration

  • After the results are declared, qualified candidates must register online for counselling on the official IEMJEE website.
  • Fill in personal and academic details as required.

 

2. Choice Filling

  • Candidates must select their preferred courses and campuses based on availability.
  • Choices should be filled carefully as seat allotment depends on rank and availability.

 

3. Document Verification

  • Candidates need to upload or present the necessary documents for verification.
  • Documents required include:
    • IEMJEE 2025 admit card and rank card
    • 10th & 12th mark sheets and certificates
    • Photo ID proof (Aadhaar, Passport, etc.)
    • Passport-size photographs

 

4. Seat Allotment

  • Seats are allotted based on merit rank, choices filled, and seat availability.
  • The allotment result will be published on the official website.

 

5. Payment of Admission Fee

  • Candidates must confirm their seat by paying the admission fee within the given time.
  • Payment can be done online through net banking, credit/debit card, or UPI.

 

6. Reporting to the Institute

  • After seat allotment and payment, candidates must report to the allotted institute for final admission formalities.
