PES University, originally established as PES Institute of Technology in 1972, was renamed in 2013. Situated in Bangalore, Karnataka, the university is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Government of Karnataka. It is a private institution accredited by NAAC and approved by the All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Spanning a 30-acre campus, PES University offers a diverse range of undergraduate, postgraduate, executive, and research programs across multiple disciplines, including Engineering, Law, Commerce & Management, Architecture, Design, Science & Humanities, and Pharmaceutical Sciences.
The university is widely recognized for its flagship programs in B.Tech, MBA, and medical sciences, with multiple specializations available. Admissions to PES University are conducted through the university’s entrance test, PESSAT, as well as other national and state-level exams. For instance, B.Arch admissions require NATA scores, B.Tech admissions are based on JEE Main and KCET, while MBA aspirants can apply through CAT, CMAT, NMAT, ATMA, GMAT, GRE, or PGCET. Similarly, admissions to law courses are accepted through CLAT and LSAT scores.
