MS Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences (MSRUAS) is commonly known as Ramaiah University. It is a private university established in 2013 under the Karnataka University Act. It operates from two campuses in Bangalore—Gnanagangothri and Peenya. Through its eight faculties, two schools of study, and two campuses, the university offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in fields such as Engineering and Technology, Management and Commerce, Art and Design, and Mathematical & Physical Sciences, among others.
The university is approved by AICTE and UGC. In 2022, QS I-Gauge awarded it a Gold University Rating. Additionally, it was ranked 62nd by NIRF in 2022 for Pharmacy. The Faculty of Management and Commerce (FMC) at Ramaiah University offers various courses in management and commerce. Notably, FMC College Bangalore has been recognized in the Times of India B-School Survey 2024, securing the top position under the Emerging Category for BBA Institutes in both overall performance and placements.
