The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the correction window for the NEET‑UG 2026 application form on 12 March 2026. This facility allows candidates who have already submitted their applications to review and correct certain details in their forms through the official NTA website. The correction window is an important opportunity for students to ensure that all the information submitted during the registration process is accurate before the examination process moves forward.

According to the official notification, the correction window will remain available until 14 March 2026. During this period, applicants can modify specific details such as their exam city preferences, uploaded photographs or signatures, category information, and other permitted fields. Students are advised to carefully review their forms and make necessary changes within the given time frame. However, the agency has clarified that some major personal details, including name, date of birth, and certain identity information, usually cannot be changed at this stage as they are linked to official verification documents.

The correction facility plays a crucial role in ensuring that candidates do not face issues during later stages of the examination process, such as admit card generation, examination verification, or counselling procedures. Experts also recommend that students keep copies of their corrected application forms and confirmation pages for future reference.

The NEET-UG 2026 examination is scheduled to be held on 3 May 2026 across multiple centres in India. NEET remains the single national-level entrance examination for undergraduate medical admissions, including courses like MBBS, BDS, and various AYUSH courses offered by government and private institutions.

Candidates who plan to appear for the exam are strongly encouraged to log in to the official portal, review their application details carefully, and complete any necessary corrections before the deadline. Missing this window could result in complications later in the admission process, making it essential for applicants to act promptly.
