The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has extended the registration deadline for MAH CET 2026 for several undergraduate courses, including BBA, BCA, BHMCT, BBM, and BMS, providing relief to students who could not complete their applications earlier. The extension allows candidates additional time to register for the entrance examination for the academic session 2026–27.

Earlier, the last date to apply for MAH CET 2026 was March 4, 2026, but the authorities have now extended the deadline to March 18, 2026. Candidates can complete the application process online through the official CET Cell website. The decision to extend the deadline was taken after receiving requests from students and institutions seeking more time to complete the registration process.

The MAH CET examination is conducted every year by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, for admission into various undergraduate professional programs offered by colleges across the state. These include courses such as Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (BHMCT), and other management-related programs. The entrance test serves as a key gateway for students seeking admission to government and private colleges in Maharashtra.

According to the revised schedule, the MAH CET 2026 examination will be conducted from April 28 to April 30, 2026. The exam will be held in computer-based test (CBT) mode at designated examination centers. Candidates are advised to complete their registration before the new deadline to avoid last-minute technical issues or delays.

Reports suggest that over 56,000 students have already registered for various courses under the MAH CET 2026 examination. The extension is expected to allow more students to participate and ensure that eligible candidates do not miss the opportunity due to technical or administrative reasons.

Education experts have welcomed the move, stating that the extension will help many aspirants who were unable to complete the application process on time. Students are encouraged to regularly check the official CET Cell portal for updates regarding admit cards, exam guidelines, and further announcements related to the examination.
