The National Medical Commission (NMC) has extended the deadline for medical colleges across India to upload the admission details of first-year students enrolled in the Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery program for the 2025–26 academic session. According to the latest notification issued by the commission, medical institutions now have time until 31 March 2026 to submit the required admission information on the official NMC portal.
Earlier, colleges were required to complete the data submission within a shorter timeframe. However, considering requests from several institutions and the need to ensure accurate documentation, the commission decided to grant additional time. The extension aims to help colleges complete the uploading process without errors and maintain proper records of admitted students.
The uploaded information generally includes important details such as the number of students admitted, their category, admission quota, and verification of eligibility under the regulations of the National Medical Commission.
